Kottarakkara, Etumanoor, and Thuravoor, have been upgraded to higher groups as well. This upgrade is based on their increased revenue and passenger footfall. Notably, Kasaragod station saw a significant increase in revenue from Rs 21.68 crore in 2018-19 to Rs 49.70 crore in 2023-24. Several of these upgraded stations are part of the Amrit Bharat scheme, with renovations and upgrades planned. The article details the various NSG revenue groups and highlights the impact of the upgrade on the stations.

Kerala mein 15 medium railway stations ko upgrade karke unhe higher revenue groups mein rakha gaya hai, aur kuch stations mein revenue aur passenger growth bhi bahut zyada dekha gaya hai. Dusre stations, jaise Feroke, Tripunithura, Karunagappally, Cherthala, Manjeswaram, Kotikulam, Punalur, Kottarakkara, Etumanoor, aur Thuravoor, ko bhi higher groups mein upgrade kiya gaya hai. Ye upgrade unke badhte hue revenue aur passenger footfall ke base par kiya gaya hai. Aise mein, Kasaragod station ka revenue 2018-19 mein Rs 21.68 crore se badhkar 2023-24 mein Rs 49.70 crore ho gaya hai. Inme se kai upgraded stations Amrit Bharat scheme ka part hain, jisme renovation aur upgrades ka plan hai. Lekin, kam revenue wale chhote stations ko halt station banane ya band karne ka dhamka hai, kyunki unka income aur passenger numbers kam hain. Article mein NSG revenue groups ke baare mein detail di gai hai aur stations pe upgrade ke impact ko highlight kiya gaya hai.
