The government's Amrit Station Scheme aims to modernize 1247 stations across India, including 15 in the Malda division, with Godda receiving 57 crore INR for development. The modernization includes a complete transformation of the station's look, improvements to the area in front of the station, and better parking and other basic amenities. The first phase of the project involved spending 15 crore INR on station development, followed by a second phase with a 10 crore INR investment for further development. Key improvements in the first phase include the construction of two foot over bridges, an electric escalator, expansion of the parking area, a new look for the front of the station, and the installation of wall-mounted TVs displaying train schedules. The VIP lounge is also under construction. The DRM emphasized the importance of Godda station, being a key station in the Malda division, and highlighted the good progress made so far in the development process, aiming to create a more comfortable and convenient experience for passengers.

Sarkar ki Amrit Station Scheme pura Bharat ke 1247 stations ko modernize karne ka lakshya rakhti hai, jisme Malda division ke 15 stations bhi shamil hain, aur Godda station ko 57 crore INR mil raha hai. Modernization me station ka pura look badal dena, station ke saamne wale area ko behtar karna, aur parking aur dusre basic facilities ko behtar karna shamil hai. Project ke pehle phase me 15 crore INR se station ka vikas kiya gaya, aur dusre phase me 10 crore INR se aage vikas karne ka kaam chal raha hai. Pehle phase ke key improvements me do foot over bridges banaana, ek electric escalator banaana, parking area ko badaana, station ke saamne wala hissa naya banane aur train schedules dikhane wale wall-mounted TVs lagaana shamil hai. VIP lounge bhi bana raha hai. DRM ne Godda station ke importance ko bataya, jo Malda division ka ek key station hai, aur ab tak kiye gaye vikas kaam ko bahut accha bataya, jiska lakshya passengers ke liye ek behtar aur convenient experience banana hai.
