Met our Union Minister of State for Railways & Jal Shakti Shri @VSOMANNA_BJP today in Delhi and submitted a letter requesting his intervention to:

1. Extend Train No. 16347/48 Mangalore-Trivandrum Express to Kanyakumari or Nagercoil.

2. Direct the Trivandrum division to reconsider their proposal and prioritize the extension of the Mangalore-Trivandrum Express.

Also, thanked him on behalf of all of Dakshina Kannada for initiating efforts towards merger of Konkan Railways with Indian Railways and work on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru rail route.

Aaj Delhi mein humne Railway aur Jal Shakti ke Union Minister of State Shri @VSOMANNA_BJP ji se mulaqat ki aur unko ek letter submit kiya jisme unse yeh request ki gayi hai:

1. Train No. 16347/48 Mangalore-Trivandrum Express ko Kanyakumari ya Nagercoil tak extend kiya jaaye.

2. Trivandrum division se request ki gayi hai ki woh apne proposal pe dobara soche aur Mangalore-Trivandrum Express ke extension ko priority de.

Iske saath hi, Dakshina Kannada ke sabhi logon ki taraf se unka dhanyavaad bhi kiya gaya hai ki unhone Konkan Railways ko Indian Railways mein merge karne aur Mangaluru-Bengaluru rail route par kaam karne ke liye prayas shuru kiye hain.

I booked a ticket on train number 12509 from Dankuni to Guwahati. But now I got a text saying that train 12509 SMVB GHY EXP leaving from Dankuni on 08-Dec-2023 is diverted via KGP-ADL-HWH, skipping DKAE-RPH and has additional stops at HWH, BDC, AZ & JRLE.

I'm also not able to change my boarding point to HWH on irctc and the new route is not updated. Plus, the new timetable for the extra stop at Howrah is not available.

Can you please check it out and give some suggestions?
