Train no 14023/24 KKDE-DLI DEMU Express should be a alloted a ICF rake with 16 coaches. The current DEMU rake has just 8 cars which are very less because this train gets very crowded as a lot of people coming towards delhi board this train in morning due to its convenient timings.

The current DEMU rake can be used on any other branch line route.

In morning, it's timing great. Business people who are used to purchase from wholesale markets of Delhi from Kaithal, Narwana, Jind etc use this train frequently as it arrives Delhi at market opening time.

In evening, timing may be a little bit earlier as it reaches Narwana and afterward stations at very odd times.

There was an article that VB trial failed on Kurukshetra-Kaithal-Narwana section which lead to IR dropping the route altogether. Some pantograph issue occurred alongside MPS failure where the speed limit is just 65 KMPH on many patches.

Even Rohtak edition of Dainik Bhaskar reported the same on 3rd January, that Railways is set to give Rohtak its first VB. It will have halt at Dausa, Alwar, Rewari, Rohtak, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Ambala. Interestingly it reported that Central Govt has instructed Northern Railway to finalize the TT thru this route.

they are introducing it like an Intercity train ! Dam slow .. not a single district has been spared from the halt. Bhagwan malik for this VB !
NWR has a spare rake .. they are not getting green signals from WR to launch it on ADI or INDB route.. they are trying to fit it on this route.. but it would be a waste for sure... there is no JP-CDG connecting train from the normal route..
atleast they can spare Jind and Kaithal route and run it through Rok-Pnp route.

Jaipur-Chandigarh via Churu is a wet dream of Rajasthan MPs.

The moment train gets directed to Northern Rajasthan, forget Chandigarh it wont even make it to North Haryana districts via Churu.

between Jaipur and Hisar (via Sikar, Churu, Sadulpur) itself is 328 KMs and entirely single line. VB will take 5 hours minimum just to reach Hisar.

From Hisar there is no direct rail route to Chandigarh, VB will have to be routed either via Rohtak which will take 95-100 minutes including Rake reversals. From Rohtak, VB would need another 200 Minutes to CDG (from whichever route you direct it - Panipat or Jind/Kaithal).

If it is routed via Jakhal-Dhuri-Ambala it will take 4 hours to Ambala alone from Hisar including all the rake reversals. Add another 40 minutes to CDG.

Whichever route you run this from Churu-Hisar onwards, its a minimum 10 Hours journey to CDG on a VB with multiple rake reversals.

People in KLE/Kaithal are demanding the new railway line upto Patiala. I don't know who plans for these absurd routes.There will be no benefit of a rail line to Patiala as Patiala is itself crying for trains. Just demand Bhiwani-Ambala(via Kaithal-Jind) railway line instead.

Railways will surely thwart this proposal by saying NRW-KKDE line already exists. To address that: As elevated railway line is already being constructed in KKDE/Kurukshetra Junction so chances of Kurukshetra bypass line are next to nil now. If still railway thinks its not good then take support

If a rail line is constructed to Ambala instead of Patiala then Kaithal will easily get trains which will get diverted to UMB/Ambala Cantt-KLE/Kaithal-Jind-ROK-DLI/Delhi route because in future Ambala-PNP/Panipat-Delhi route will definitely need decongestion.
On the other hand a direct connection to CDG/Chandigarh Junction will be there in place for Kaithal, Jind, Hisar and Bhiwani. It will be next to impossible to get a train to CDG via Patiala. Roadways will remain the only option.

Here it'll be good if I mention (Traffic between Kaithal-Chandigarh is greater than Traffic between Kaithal-Patiala) multiply by 10. There exists no direct govt/private buses between Kaithal and Patiala. One has to get down at Cheeka for a bus to Patiala(I don't know if there are any buses between Cheeka-Patiala someone confirm but I'm sure about Kaithal-Cheeka buses). whereas on average in a whole day you can find buses to Chandigarh from Kaithal at an interval of almost every 30 min(this is 5 min in morning time). All buses have a decent number of passengers with many buses crowded as hell.

Also people in Kaithal are demanding to extend this rail line further to Karnal. This may never be done by railways as DLI-UMB route is already congested. Further land aquisition will pose complications around KUN/Karnal station;
If the line to Ambala proves beneficial then a direct connection to BNWC/Bhiwani City(eventually upto BNW) via JIND/Jind Junction will be possible as railway has good mass of land around these stations. It'll also be a good optional route of UMB-PNP-DLI route via UMB-KLE-JIND-ROK/Rohtak Junction-DLI.

HSR/Hisar(via Hansi-Meham or may be Mundhal wherever this line will intersect with Rohtak-Hansi line) and Bhiwani will get a rather direct line to Chandigarh instead of current circular route which train follows via ROK-PNP.

kaithal - Karnal - Yamuna nagar line was passed few years back and survey done.Yamunanagar to Ponta sahib extension was also surveyed, Karnal - Yamunanagar line will be very useful if laid some time although there is no hope in near time

Sir, many buses of Haryana roadways Kaithal depot runs between Kaithal and Patiala via cheeka and Prtc and Haryana roadways also run buses between pehowa and Patiala via Devigarh.
I agree that a new line from Ambala to bhiwani should be considered.
But I also think that as Hr govt and railways are building Haryana rail orbital line parallel to KMP Expressway, I want govt should also consider a new greenfield line parallel to Ambala-Narnaul Trans-Haryana Express NH 152D.

also agree that Patiala itself is crying for trains because Patiala City neither falls on Ambala-Ludhiana mainline nor on Delhi-Jind-Jakhal-Dhuri line.It lies in between these lines.
Moreover, Doubling is in process on rpj-bti line and Patiala hope that to decongest Ambala-Ludhiana mainline, some trains to Jammu/Amritsar side May be diverted via Patiala in near future.
