Samata rail passengers livid
Waltair Division authorities forget to attach extra sleeper coach
The Visakhapatnam-Hazrat Nizamuddin (12807) Samata super fast express was held up for about two hours at the Vizinagaram Railway Station on Saturday as the Waltair Division authorities reportedly forgot to add a coach.
The authorities had decided to attach an extra coach to the train to deal with the extra rush...

They asked the passengers to book tickets for the extra coach but failed to arrange the additional sleeper coach in Visakhapatnam.
They realised their folly after the train left Vizag. It reached Vizianagaram around 7.25 a.m. and was scheduled to leave at 7.30 a.m. The passengers, who booked their tickets by the extra coach, said they would not allow the train to leave unless an additional coach was attached.
The authorities sent an additional coach from Vizag to Vizianagaram by attaching it to the Visakha Express. The Samata Express left around 9.50 a.m. after the additional coach was attached to it.
