In the pit-line adjacent to PF-1, electric locos are parked. PF-1 is on the extreme left while moving from Manmad to Bhusaval.
.
At the outer of both ends of the station, one can see electric as well diesel locos parked freely in the pit and loop lines.
.
Manmad has a huge Food Corporation of India godown and also the refineries of IOCL, BPCL and HPCL. Owing to this, one can spot freights (BCNA / BTPN / BTPGLN) loaded with foodgrains and oil, hauled by WDG-3A/4 and also WAG-5/7/9 of various sheds across India.
.
Being a major junction, there is a considerable presence of RPFs around the station and movement of railway officers and staff. So RFs need to take extra care while photography.
.
There is a road overbridge before you enter MMR from BSL side, you can stand on that bridge and take aerial view without the risk of being caught. One more location is the parallel road that runs beside the tracks from PF-1 side towards BSL.
