The ticket prices were ₹1,465 for AC Chair Car and ₹2,945 for Executive Chair Car. The Ernakulam-Bengaluru service was the third Vande Bharat Express in Kerala, after the existing Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore Central-Thiruvananthapuram routes. It saw a high demand with up to 105% booking and seat occupancy. The service was particularly popular with IT professionals from Kerala working in Bengaluru. Despite high ticket prices, demand remained strong. However, it was discontinued as a temporary service. Now, there are calls to reinstate the service permanently, with Kerala residents urging the Central Railway Ministry for its return. This request has been made by MPs Kodikunnil Suresh and John Brittas. The Railway Minister is reportedly positive towards the request, and the Southern Railway is likely to consider bringing it back, potentially including it in the next railway timetable.
