However, on September 11th, railway workers abruptly arrived with a bulldozer and destroyed the shops, some of which were over 40 years old. This action angered the shopkeepers, who were left with no means of livelihood and raised concerns about the disruption to railway workers' access to tea and snacks during their duty hours. Following the intervention of the former minister, the railway authorities responded by sending the General Manager to inspect the site.
