The construction of the Nadikudi-Srikalahasti railway line, which had been moving at a snail's pace during the previous YSRCP government's tenure, has been revived after the NDA government came to power. The central government had shown little interest in the project during the YSRCP rule. The project is now on track,...

with work resuming in the Kanigiri area. The line is expected to be operational within a year, bringing railway travel to the area. The project includes the construction of railway stations, bridges, and laying of tracks. While the construction had stalled previously due to various issues including land acquisition, compensation to farmers, and bridge construction, the project is now progressing with the work on bridges nearing completion. It is expected that the entire track, spanning 107 km, will be completed within a year, connecting various towns and villages like Darsi, Podili, Kanigiri, and Pamuru. The project is estimated to cost ₹3000 crore, with ₹350 crore spent so far. The project's revival has been welcomed by local residents, with the MLA expressing confidence in its completion within the year.

YCP government ke time pe Nadikudi-Srikalahasti railway line ka kaam bahut slow chal raha tha. NDA government ke aane ke baad ye project phir se start ho gaya hai. Central government YCP ke time pe isme koi interest nahin dikha raha tha. Abhi Kanigiri area mein kaam phir...

Abhi bridges ka kaam almost complete ho chuka hai aur 107 km ka track bhi ek saal ke andar complete ho jayega. Is se Darsi, Podili, Kanigiri, aur Pamuru jaise town aur villages connect ho jayenge. Is project ka cost ₹3000 crore hai aur abhi tak ₹350 crore ka kaam ho chuka hai. Local residents is project ke phir se start hone se bahut khush hain aur MLA ne bhi confidence dikhaaya hai ki ye project ek saal ke andar complete ho jayega.
