An underpass bridge is being constructed in Balaghat, near the Sarekha railway crossing. To enable the construction, a girder needed to be placed under the railway tracks, necessitating a temporary blockage of the tracks. This was a complex operation as it involved the removal and replacement of tracks, the installation of...

the girder, and the re-establishment of the electrical system. The contractor was granted a four-hour window on May 20th to complete this work. A heavy crane was used to move the 58-ton girder into place. After the completion of the process, the railway tracks were reconnected and the electrical system restored. Multiple train trials were conducted to ensure the safety of the new track. The underpass bridge is designed to last for 100 years and the current speed limit for trains passing through it is 30 km/h. This speed limit will be increased in the future.

Is baad train ko kai baar chalaya gaya, is baat ki surety ke liye ki track safe hai. Underpass bridge 100 saal tak chalne wala hai aur iske through jaane wali train ki speed limit abhi 30 km/h hai. Aage jaake speed limit badha di jaayegi.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
