The RTI response revealed that the cost of temporary selfie booths at Class A stations was Rs. 1.25 lakh, while the cost of permanent selfie booths at Class C stations was Rs. 6.25 lakh. Despite the transfer, Manaspure's replacement, Swapnil D Neel, denies any link between the transfer and the RTI response, stating it was a 'top-level decision'. However, Manaspure, known for his performance and achievements, was recognized by the Union Railway Minister in December 2023, making his sudden transfer a cause for speculation.
