why not rail mistry allow gen. public enjoy duranto type trains pan-india ??

Even SF are now running at 130kmph in many sections with GS and masses are utilising no need to add GS to Duronto. When railways is trying to go all reserved AC why it go and put GS in premium train.
Unfortunate thing is that all the non-ac classes have no profits with them, that is why IR with going with full AC models now. Had the government been allowed to increase fares of non ac classes then there wouldn't have been this much reduction in the amount of SL coaches as is currently seen pan India. Even if normal SF trains are run with less halts, the stoppage demanding faction would destroy them. Also, there won't be any new Duronto in the near future as Durontos were introduced by Mamata Banerjee, and the government is not at all interested in advocating opposition's pet project. You can only expect Humsafars and Tejas trains for premium services.
No new Duronto trains have been introduced in the recent past. Instead of launching Durontos, I'm sure IR will create some or the other new segment of trains with some new name and then launch trains under that name only.
Just like Shatabdis, Rajdhanis and Garib Raths are being replaced with Tejas, Tejas Rajdhanis and Humsafars. Eventually it's just politics, the current govt wants its legacy to live on, instead of Momta Didi's Duronto concept.
