Schafenburg coupling is widely used in shinkansen(Bullet train) and Europeans trains
In India , it is used in metros well the coupling in metros are called dellner
If these coupling in used in bullet trains so it can easily run at a speed of 200-300 km/hr
Do you think railway should use these couplings in their coaches or atleast in train sets...
more... (for connecting coach to drive coach like locals)
As I have heard Railway will use alluminium coach of a south Korean company soon and will manufacture by ToT in MCF
Why don't these these coaches have schafenburg coupling ?
Well like CBC and screw-buffer coupling can fit together known as transit coupling
Schafenburg coupling can be only used as one
We can't mix with CBC and screw-buffer coupling
A separate loco will be needed
What are your thoughts on it
