Humsafar Express is an all-3AC coach train for inter-city overnight journey which will have additional facilities, not available in normal 3AC coaches, like CCTV, GPS-based information system, fire and smoke detection system and charging points for every berth. With improved aesthetics inside coaches, fare for this train will be 20% pricer than the normal express and mail trains, officials said. Railway minister Suresh Prabhu has envisioned that the train will run at speeds greater than 130 kmph.
