Today I reached HWH by 12250 Yuva Express. Across the aisle on SL/SU were a family of two with a small child. The couple were well educated and seemed to be affluent but I was surprised to see they were habitually throwing paper cups, used tissue paper, bottles into the aisle and under the seat - creating a dirty mess. It pains me when such people do this and then point at slum dwellers and call them dirty..what must the child be thinking -- that it's perfectly fine to treat public property like Railways as it its a common dustbin. Anyway I got fed up of this and at some stage picked up their litter and told them that if as educated people they had trouble walking 10-15 metres to use the end-of-coach dustbin, I would gladly do it. They were obviously embarrassed and tried to say "Sweeper will come" but...
more... the attitude was disgusting. How can we expect travellers in 2S and Unreserved bogies / EMUs to be clean when 1A / 2A / 3A passengers set such an example.
