So sad... this train lost its pride. no meaning for reservation in 2s. CC withdrawn to patronize DD. Timings changed. stops increased... Those days this train was considered one of best SF train btwn MAS-SBC-MAS.
Seems SR removes AC coaches for the sake of DD..bad step taken by SR..a SF intercity exp does'nt have AC coach sad..
Though I agree that Brinda Girl is still one of the most adored even after so much degradation has happened to the train, we have to reconcile ourselves to the fact that times are changing fast, read DD, Shatabdis, and the new one awaiting to take wings this year.
Just as Shakespeare said 'A rose by another name would smell as sweet', and as rightly said by you, this train by any other composition would run as good.
