This is one of the highest revenue generating Station of West Bengal and important station between HWH-NJP route... Rampurhat as a city is not that big or important. It's population is not even 1 lakh. That's why it doesn't host any long distance train.
Rampurhat as a station is very important since it is the gateway to the important shrine of Tarapith. But if you look closely, majority of the devotees of Tarapith are from Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Assam. ER ne bahut aacha speedup dia hai haa Deoghar agartala ko bi patna ya jhajha tak extend kar skate hai avi vi one hours speed up ho sakti hai , haa dumka ko socha tha isbar patna ya Delhi ki train milegi ab lag raha avi aur wait karna hoga, mayurakshi ka extension speed up karke Deoghar tak kia wah vi koi socha nahi tha
