RB allotted a 16 Car VB to SR! With this, SR totally has 4 new VB trains while one being 16 car rake other three VB trains are 8-Car rakes in custody awaiting inauguration.
Let's wait and see, if it's going to used for New Service/ Replacement for existing MS TEN VB (or) MAS CBE VB/ simply a spare rake.

2, 3 and 4 are very much feasible. MAQ Bengaluru VB will surely come but they might prefer hassan route.
With Upcoming TBM RMM daily Exp, I'm not sure about VB but who knows? only board can make decision given the fact RMM is a special pilgrimage and Pamban is 95% ready, so yeah we can expect 1 RMM based VB from anywhere in the range of CC VB.

These EMUs will replace the existing old EMU trains and may pave road to additional services.
But commuters are eagerly waiting for AC EMUs b/w MSB-TBM-CGL, which was announced long back ago. And new EMUs are also important, to improve the frequency.

if both trains are back to back what u saying will be correct. For example: Blue mountain and Cheran can equally split the stops as they are almost back to back. Yercaud present for intermediate beyond ED. Here the caterance and timing difference is too much. so kind of early arrival and late arrival so it will be very tough to reduce the stoppages. What u said can be applied with TBM NCJ SF and Ananthu reducing halts in NCJ-MDU section and sharing loads equally once it becomes daily. Even though MAS ALLP present for ernakulam I dont think load split will work for 12695/6 & 12623/4 as their caterance is totally difference. On the case of TBM KCVL regularised to daily (alternatively TBM SCT can be made daily and extended to KCVL) and MS kollam mail extended to KCVL what u said can be done between VPT and KCVL....
