Shram Shakti Express is getting a good response not from the upper classes but 3Ac, Sleeper is having an impressive response. In the Evening hours after Nanda Devi it's the only daily train to Capital.
A good number of pax board from intermediate stations for Delhi.

Some regional daily overnight trains run for 300-700km for max 12-14, hrs and stay idle during day. Some of the rakes of trains upto 500km can be run as day intercity express for short distance or back to originating station. IR need to implement a change in reservation system by treating SL as SL , 3AC, 3ACE as ACC during day intercity and utilized the idle time by increasing capacity, freeup stabling line. Atleast 25 new intercity can be introduced and with addition of single rake another 25 new daily trains can be added which will be win win for both travellers as well as Railways. All 6 metros city have such possibility.

Via Alwar bhi jarurat h pr New Delhi se Kota ke liye morning me koi bhi daily suvidha nhi h. MTJ, SWM, BTE, GGC pe koi daily morning train nhi h. Patna - Kota kaafi late rhti h.
Din ki train ko chlte kisi bhi route se Ac me seat nhi bharegi. Pr fir bhi isme AC me aachi khaasi booking hoti h specially Saturday, Sunday ko.
Ye train local public ke hisab se bni h to Sleeper, General me bheed hona sahi hi h.

Did you study at IET post 2016? I think after that, Gauge conversion work properly started here. It sees some passenger trains daily and couple of express trains like Mailani Gorakhpur Express and Sitapur - LTT Express.Though I think the station would still be getting barren at night because no service is scheduled then. MG services like Nainital Express[which originally didn't stop here] have not been resumed.
