The remodelling at Roza station required a 30-day mega block from July 7th to August 5th, resulting in the cancellation of 60 trains, including 30 trains passing through Laksar, Roorkee, and Haridwar. Other affected trains included the Howrah-Dehradun Kumbh Express, Howrah-Dehradun Upasana Express, Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express, Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Express, Jammu Tawi-Howrah Himgiri Express, Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadharan Express, Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Express, Banmankhi-Anand Vihar Terminal Satyagrah Express, and New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express. का ध्यान अब लंबी दूरी वाली ट्रेनों की गति बढ़ाने पर है। इसके लिए रेलवे ट्रैक और सिग्नल सिस्टम को डिजिटल किया जा रहा है, और रेलवे स्टेशन को हाईटेक बनाया जा रहा है। इसी में रोजा स्टेशन पर यार्ड रिमॉडलिंग भी थी। इसके लिए विभाग ने 7 जुलाई से 5 अगस्त तक 30 दिन का मेगा ब्लॉक लिया था। मेगा ब्लॉक में 60 ट्रेनें अलग-अलग तारीखों में रद्द की गई थीं। इनमें 30 ट्रेनें लक्सर, रुड़की, हरिद्वार से आने जाने वाली थीं। इनके अलावा हावड़ा से देहरादून, कुंभ एक्सप्रेस, हावड़ा से देहरादून, उपासना एक्सप्रेस, कोलकाता से जम्मूतवी, जम्मूतवी एक्सप्रेस, जम्मूतवी से कोलकाता, कोलकाता एक्सप्रेस, जम्मूतवी से हावड़ा, हिमगिरी एक्सप्रेस, सहरसा से आनंद विहार टर्मिनस, जनसाधारण एक्सप्रेस, कामाख्या से आनंद विहार टर्मिनस, वीकली एक्सप्रेस, बनमंखी से आनंद विहार टर्मिनस, सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस और नई दिल्ली से डिब्रूगढ़ राजधानी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को शॉर्ट टर्मिनेट, शॉर्ट ओरिजिनेट, रेगुलेशन व रिशेड्यूल करके भी चलाया गया था।
