The shift is expected to cause some inconvenience to passengers traveling from distant locations due to the limited public transport connectivity to Subedarganj station compared to Prayagraj Junction. However, the Railways has already shifted several other trains, including the Udhampur Superfast, Sangam Express, Dehradun Express, Kanpur MEMU, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay MEMU, to Subedarganj station in recent years.

will be cancelled on August 29th and 30th. The Ahmedabad-Danapur train consists of 22 coaches, including 2 AC second class, 6 AC third class, 8 sleeper class, and 4 general class coaches. It departs from Ahmedabad at 9:10 AM every Monday and reaches Mathura via Nadiad, Chayapuri, Ratlam, and Bharatpur on Tuesday. The return train, Danapur-Ahmedabad 09418, leaves Danapur at 11:50 PM and reaches Kanpur Central at 1:55 PM the next day after passing through Ara, Buxar, Varanasi, and Jaunpur City. To accommodate the Kumbh Mela pilgrims, the termini of Prayagraj-New Delhi Express 12417, Prayagraj-Bikaner Express 12403, and Bikaner-Prayagraj Express 20403 will be temporarily shifted to Subedarganj station from Prayagraj Junction in January and February.
