Visakhapatnam Kirandul express Left Visakhapatnam at 745 and reached Araku at 1150 1hr late dep and 1hr late arrival. Yesterday they are only 2 opp freight crossing in single line section. The train is late by an hour from Visakhapatnam in last 3 days and is a common scene. A fellow traveller in bus on retirn said that once on Sunday train left 1000 and arrived at 1630 Araku no water and food and the whole day is wasted for the tourists with no return option on that day or sightseeing. In retirn the train arrives Vskp 1-2 hrs on a daily basis. The late running is due to preference of dep and arrival of express trains on Vskp Platforms.

August and September will have pleasant weather withoutbmuch sun cloudy with rain in some days. Tourist season starts from Oct to Feb end. December and January will be cold with winter temperatures dropping. If you are planning vistadome book atleast 3 months in advance. Avoid weekends and
Dussera 2 weeks, Dec 15-Jan 30 period as tourist influx will be more and crowded. You won't get that good vibe.

1. Borra Caves 2. katiki waterfalls upto December near to Borra caves. 3. Ziplining in Borra valley Cost Rs 500 adventure level high.

Local transport in Araku Autos are available 3,4,5,
6,7 fare Rs 1000 -1200 for 4 persons. Coffe and Tribal Museum are in town center.
