Now SR or SWR should introduce a biweekly train between MAQ and SBC or MAQ MAS via HAS KJM in the platform slot vacated by KCG train. Can start by 1700 at MAS, 2330 at SBC and reach MAQ by 0930. Go back at 2000 from MAQ to reach SBC by 0500, MAS 1130. You will get Friday departure from Chennai/ Bangalore, which will be a super hit.
If not done, one more Kerala train will be introduced by PGT.

Next move should be to extend one train each originating from TVC and MAS upto Murudeshwar or Karwar.
2 night trains (Malabar and Maveli) and 2 day time trains (Ernad and Parashuram) have PM at MAQ. Also Maveli/ Malabar have RSA with MAQ MAS Mail and West coast express. Ernad has RSA with MAQ CBE ICE. Meaning 7 trains are having PM at MAQ.
It would be better if one TVC train and it's RSA MAS train can be extended to MRDW/ KAWR by shifting PM to either TVC or...

With extension to MRDW, a train connects AP, North and west TN to coastal Karnataka (Udupi, Kundapura, Murudeshwara).
Timings need revision. As of now, it reaches MAQ at 0930 and leaves at 2000. As per notification, it reaches MRDW at 1400 and leaves at 1520. MAQ MRDW / MRDW MAQ can be coolly covered in 3.5 hours. So, TT should bre revised as follows: Towards MRDW -- KGQ 0745 MAQ 0900/ 0915 MRDW 1245. Return MRDW 1600 MAQ arrival 1945.
