गोरखपुर से 02 अक्टूबर, 2024 को चलने वाली 12589 गोरखपुर-सिकंदराबाद एक्सप्रेस निर्धारित मार्ग नागपुर- सेवाग्राम-बल्हारशाह-काजीपेट-सिकंदराबाद के स्थान पर परिवर्तित मार्ग नागपुर-सेवाग्राम-वर्धा-अकोला-पूर्णा-हजूर साहिब नान्देड-निजामाबाद-काचीगुडा के रास्ते चलाई जायेगी। मार्ग परिवर्तन के फलस्वरूप इस गाड़ी का ठहराव चन्द्रपुर, बल्हारशाह, सिरपुर कागजनगर, बेल्लमपल्ली, मंचिर्याल, रामगुंडम एवं काजीपेट स्टेशनों पर नहीं रहेगा।

Due to heavy Inflow/Outflow of trains from GKP and space constraints in GKP Yard and washing line NER is forced to park rakes of trains far away from GKP.
1. 12589/90 GKP-SC Rake parked at Shohratgarh (91km away from GKP)
2. A CBC rake parked at Uska bazar(63km away from GKP)
