on the second day, he inspected the 19-km Sangaldan-Sumber track, followed by a high-speed test on the Sangaldan-Khari section. The CRS also inspected the track between Katra and Banihal on the first day. After the inspection, he left for Srinagar to attend a meeting with USBRL officials. On January 3rd, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) conducted the second round of inspections for the 14.869 km track between Banihal and Khari, part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project. This inspection is a statutory requirement for the newly completed track.

Iske saath hi, Katra-Banihal stretch par kaam chal raha hai, aur March tak isko operational karne ki plan hai. USBRL project ka hissa, Katra aur Reasi railway stations ke beech 3,209-meter-long Tunnel T-1 recently complete ho gaya hai, jo Kashmir Valley ko national railway network se jodne ki disha mein ek bada kadam hai.
