Furqan, who had previously undergone abdominal surgery, suffered a tear in the stitches due to the beating, exposing his intestines. Despite Furqan's pleas about his condition, the officers continued to hit him. The injured man was first taken to the PHC and then referred to SKMCH. Dr. Apurv Agarwal, who treated Furqan, confirmed that his stitches had burst open due to the blows, requiring immediate surgery. While the Railway SP stated that Furqan is out of danger, a video on social media shows the two officers assaulting Furqan. The train will run from Ayodhya to Janakpur via Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, and Jaynagar.
