On Wednesday evening, a high-tension wire snapped near Niazipur Halt on the Patna-Gaya railway line in Jehanabad district of Bihar, falling onto the tracks and sparking a fire. The incident occurred around 6:45 PM, reportedly due to a fallen Sheesham tree. The 25,000-volt wire ignited a fire on the tracks, thankfully...

without causing any immediate injuries as there was nobody nearby. However, the incident disrupted the operation of several express and passenger trains, including those to and from Secunderabad. A passenger train had passed the location just 15 minutes before the incident, and another was about to arrive at the halt when the wire snapped. The situation could have been much worse if the train had been at the halt or passengers on the platform, potentially causing severe injuries. A team of railway engineers from Jehanabad reached the site with a tower wagon and restored the line after about three hours. The disruption caused delays for several trains, including express trains and passenger trains, which remained stuck between Patna, Jehanabad, and Niazipur Halt. Passengers faced inconveniences due to the delays.

gir gaya, aag lag gayi. Khushi ki baat yeh hai ki accident ke time aas paas koi nahi tha, toh koi bada haadsa nahi hua. Lekin, is incident se Secunderabad jaane wali express trains aur passenger trains sab ka chalna band ho gaya. Accident ke 15 minute pehle ek passenger train pass ho gayi thi, aur dusri Niazipur Halt pe aane wali thi, jab wire tut gaya. Agar train halt pe hoti ya platform pe passengers hote, toh bohot bada accident ho sakta tha. Jehanabad se railway engineers ki team tower wagon lekar aayi, aur 3 ghante baad track ko thik kar diya. Is incident se express trains aur passenger trains sab ka chalna band ho gaya, aur passengers ko bohot pareshani hui.
