a 5 km stretch. The journey from Patalpani to Mhow took nine minutes. The Western Railway is planning to soon launch passenger train services between Mhow and Patalpani. The launch of the heritage train service will follow. Previously, a meter gauge line existed between Mhow and Kalakund railway station, which was closed, leading to the conversion of the line to broad gauge between Mhow and Patalpani. The heritage train runs on the meter gauge line between Patalpani and Kalakund during the monsoon season. The inspection involved a detailed examination of the track, including six bridges, and a trial run of a seven-wagon train. The planned inspection speed was 130 km per hour, but due to the climb and short distance, the maximum speed reached was 101 km per hour. The train departed from Patalpani at 12:53 PM and reached Mhow at 1:02 PM, covering the 5 km distance in nine minutes. Previously, the railway had conducted speed trials using only a locomotive, which reached a speed of 110 km per hour and was successful. The CRS is now awaiting the report of the inspection, after which the railway will introduce passenger trains between Mhow and Patalpani and commence the heritage train service between Patalpani and Kalakund.

Pehle, Mhow aur Kalakund railway station ke beech meter gauge line thi, jisko band karke railway ne Mhow aur Patalpani ke beech gauge conversion shuru kiya. Heritage train Patalpani aur Kalakund ke beech meter gauge line pe monsoon season mein chalti hai. Inspection mein track ka detail examination kiya gaya, jismein six bridges bhi include the. Iske baad, seven-wagon train ka trial run kiya gaya. Plan kiya gaya inspection speed 130 km per hour thi, lekin climb aur short distance ki wajah se maximum speed 101 km per hour tak hi pahunchi. Train Patalpani se dopahar 12:53 PM pe nikli aur 1:02 PM pe Mhow pahunchi, 5 km ka safar nine minutes mein complete kiya. CRS ab inspection report ka intezaar kar raha hai. Separately, over 100 trees were illegally felled in the Chorla forest near Indore, with the Forest Department only reporting 22 trees cut down. The incident has triggered an investigation, and notices will be issued to the concerned forest personnel.

Forest Department 60,000 ped kaatne ki baat to maan raha hai, lekin woh Jhabua district mein utne hi ped lagwane ka bhi claim kar raha hai. Project mein ek problem land ko lekar hai, jiske liye Forest Department se 428 hectare jaruri hai, jiske badle mein railway ko utni hi land Forest Department ko deni hogi. Aabhi tak yeh project sirf do district mein 50 hectare land hi secure kar paya hai. Alag se, Indore ke pass Chorla forest mein 100 se zyada ped illegally kaat diye gaye, aur Forest Department sirf 22 ped kaate jaane ki baat kar raha hai. Is incident ki jaanch chalu hai aur affected forest staff ko notice diya jayega.
