शरतकालीन श्रीश्रीदुर्गापूजा आरम्भ है. भाव ये है कि अबतक केरल प्रान्त की राजधानी, त्रिवेन्द्रम से विद्याज्ञान की नगरी, काशी वाराणसी, सीधी रेलसेवा द्वारा अब तक नहीं जुड़ पाया है. इसीलिए तिरुअनंतपुरम सेन्ट्रल से वाराणसी होकर दरभंगा के लिए एक साप्ताहिक सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन आरम्भ होना चाहिए. आट्टुकाल भगवती मन्दिर ( Attukal Bhagavathy Temple ), तिरुअनंतपुरम के पास एक बहुप्राचीन भद्रकाली देवी को अर्पित मन्दिर है. दरभंगा के महाराजा स्वर्गीय श्रीरामेश्वर सिंह जी शक्ति उपासक थे, जिनकी शक्ति उपासना विख्यात है. तिरुअनंतपुरम सेन्ट्रल - दरभंगा सुपरफ़ास्ट एक्सप्रेस के आरम्भ होने से आट्टुकाल भगवती मन्दिर त्रिवेन्द्रम, मसानी अम्मन मंदिर कोयंबत्तूर, श्री पद्मावती अम्मावरी मंदिर तिरूपति, कनक दुर्गा मंदिर विजयवाड़ा, श्रीशारदा देवी शक्तिपीठ मैहर, विशालाक्षी देवी मंदिर वाराणसी तथा श्रीश्यामा मन्दिर दरभंगा आदि...
