Omkareswar Road must be developed as a terminus type station after Sanawad-Balwada Line is made BG. Pitlines, Sicklines, Coaching depot all must be made.

MHOW KHANDWA AKOLA GAUGE CONVERSION
The main challenge of this project is their new alignments from Patalpani to Mukhtiara balwada and Tukiakhed to Adgaon bujurg. Whereas Khandwa to Sanawad, Khandwa to Amlakhurd,Akola to Akot are completed . MHOW to Patalpani , Mukhtiara balwada to Sanawad GC will be done on old alignments.

Journey from South Central Railway's Khandwa Junction(Meter Gauge Part of Junction has SCR staff) with our 45 min delayed fastest Passenger train between Khandwa and Mhow, 52992 Khandwa Mhow fast passenger, after cruising in outskirts of Khandwa, we pass the Ratlam Division sign board the YDM-4 notches up for a spectacular speed show and clocks upto 75km/h in no time idling and chugging in regular intervals, before retirement this was one of the fastest Meter Gauge sections present in India, we continue the run in plains then grades upto Sanawad, where our train starts climbing and descending towards Omkareshwar, after a breif halt, we cross the mighty Narmada river and continue the run upto choral, we also have some parallel actions with vehicles on State Highway 27 Indore Ichchapur Road, finally we start climbing towards choral after crossing the road twice.
