which was captured by Pakistani military during the war of 1965. It was the site of a major tank battle in 1965 resulting it also being known as the graveyard of tanks. In pic you would see Commander-in-Chief Pakistan Army, General Muhammad Musa visiting the captured Khemkaran Railway Station which was then in Amritsar Distrcit and now in Tarn Taran District. Before partition it was in Lahore Dist.
