Smoke delays Bengaluru-Guwahati express at Simhachalam railway station

On Saturday evening, passengers on the 12509 Bengaluru-Guwahati Express experienced smoke entering the S-7 coach at Simhachalam railway station. Passengers evacuated the coach, and while one passenger reported seeing fire from under the coach, it was extinguished by fire tenders. Railway officials attributed the smoke to brake binding and stated that there was no fire. Divisional Railway Manager Saurabh Prasad confirmed this, attributing the smoke to a transient brake system fault in the S-7 coach. The train was held for 20 minutes, and departed Simhachalam at 9:30 p.m. for its onward journey.

Divisional Railway Manager Saurabh Prasad ne WhatsApp par reply dete hue yeh confirm kiya ki dhuwan S-7 coach mein transient brake system fault ki wajah se aaya tha. Train ko 20 minutes ke liye rok diya gaya aur yeh 9:30 p.m. par Simhachalam se apni onward journey ke liye chali gayi.
