This marks the third suicide attempt reported at Bengaluru Metro stations this year, prompting renewed discussions about installing Platform Screen Doors (PSDs) for safety. The BMRCL, however, cites challenges and costs associated with implementing PSDs across all stations. The BMRCL has announced increased security measures at all stations to prevent future attempts.

aadmi ko bachane mein kamyaab rahe. Aadmi bahut financial trouble mein tha aur karz ki wajah se pareshan tha. Is incident se Purple Line pe Metro services thoda time ke liye ruk gayi, par situation ko jaldi handle kar liya gaya. Yeh is saal Bengaluru ke Metro stations pe hota hua teesra suicide attempt hai, jisse sabhi 61 Metro stations pe Platform Screen Doors (PSDs) lagane ki baat phir se chal rahi hai. Par, BMRCL ka kehna hai ki sabhi stations pe PSDs lagna operational hours mein mushkil aur bahut expensive hoga. BMRCL ne sabhi stations pe security badhane ka bhi ailan kiya hai, taaki aage aise attempts na ho paye.
