Passengers traveling on the coastal train between Alappuzha and Ernakulam are facing extreme crowding, with trains being packed beyond capacity. This issue is exacerbated by the construction of the Arur-Thuravoor National Highway, which leads to traffic congestion and delays. The Dhanbad Express, which leaves Alappuzha at 6:00 AM, is often packed...

with passengers, and the Ernad Express arriving at 6:18 AM is no better. The train departing from Thiruvananthapuram at 3:45 AM is also fully packed by the time it reaches Harippad at 5:30 AM. The MEMU train departing at 7:25 AM is equally packed. The evening situation is similar, with the Ernakulam-Alappuzha passenger train leaving at 4:00 PM facing overcrowding. The Ernakulam-Kayamkulam passenger train, previously scheduled to depart at 6:00 PM, has been delayed by 30 minutes due to the Vande Bharat Express crossing, leading to further overcrowding. Passengers, including students and employees, face immense difficulty in finding space on these trains. MP KC Venugopal has raised concerns about the situation with the Railway Minister and Chairman, advocating for additional passenger trains and coaches. Arun Kumar, a passenger, suggests shifting the departure time of the evening passenger train to 6:00 PM to avoid the Vande Bharat crossing at Thuravoor, citing the ongoing highway construction that makes bus travel equally challenging. The lack of space and overcrowding are leading to difficult and uncomfortable journeys for passengers, many of whom are relying on these trains for essential travel, including medical treatment.

Alappuzha aur Ernakulam ke beech coastal train pe chalne wale passengers ko bahut zyada bheed ka samna karna pad raha hai, train capacity se zyada bhari ja rahi hai. Arur-Thuravoor National Highway ka construction, traffic jam aur delay ke karan ye problem aur badh gai hai.

Shaam ka scene bhi same hai, 4:00 PM pe chali Ernakulam-Alappuzha passenger train bhi bhari hoti hai. Ernakulam-Kayamkulam passenger train, jo pehle 6:00 PM pe chalta tha, Vande Bharat Express ke crossing ki wajah se 30 minute delay ho gaya hai, jisse bheed aur badh gai hai. Passengers, jisme students aur employees bhi shamil hain, in trains me jagah dhundne me bahut dikkat ka samna kar rahe hain. MP KC Venugopal ne Railway Minister aur Chairman se is baat pe chinta vyakt ki hai aur additional passenger trains aur coaches ke liye appeal ki hai. Arun Kumar, ek passenger, shaam ki passenger train ka departure time 6:00 PM karne ka suggestion diya hai, taaki Vande Bharat ka crossing Thuravoor pe na ho, kyunki highway construction ki wajah se bus travel bhi mushkil ho gaya hai. Train me jagah ki kami aur bheed ki wajah se passengers ko bahut pareshani ka samna karna pad raha hai, jisme bahut se log medical treatment jaise important kaam ke liye train ka use kar rahe hain.
