Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express has been stalled at Lucknow Junction for approximately 5 hours. It is being diverted to the Mankapur-Ayodhya-Barabanki route. Passengers near the station are opting for buses and other vehicles to reach their destinations. Railway officials from Lucknow have reached the accident site, where rescue and relief efforts are underway. Several train routes have been diverted, and railway ambulances have been dispatched to the location. The railway PRO, Mahesh Gupta, confirmed that a railway ambulance reached the accident site after the 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailed between Motiganj and Jhilahi stations. The incident resulted in the derailment of 15 coaches, including 3 AC coaches, and resulted in the deaths of 5 passengers and injuries to 25 others. Helpline numbers have been issued for the assistance of passengers.
