He fell on the platform and sustained a head injury, leading to panic. The injured young man, a resident of Brahmpura, was travelling to Ranchi for a cricket match and was carrying his cricket kit. The traffic jam also affected the Gobarsahi and BBganj level crossings on the Muzaffarpur-Ramdayalu Nagar rail line, causing delays and difficulties for gatekeepers to close the gates. The 13022 Mithila Express, headed for Howrah, arrived 16 minutes earlier than scheduled on Saturday afternoon, making it easier for passengers to board the train.
