While the Railway Minister himself witnessed the successful trial of 'Kavach', it is now being questioned why this technology is not yet implemented. The North Western Railway (NWR) has confirmed that the implementation of 'Kavach' is underway and will be installed on 6 key routes, covering 1600 kilometers, including Rewari-Palanpur, Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur, Phulera-Jodhpur, Pali-Jodhpur, Samdari-Bhildi, and Chittorgarh-Udaipur. The NWR believes that if 'Kavach' had been operational, the recent train collision in Ajmer could have been avoided.
