SWR ne is proposal ko reject kar diya, aur kaha ki Indian Railways ne pehle se hi kaafi planning kar rakhi hai. K-Ride ne SWR se apna decision reconsider karne ke liye kaha hai, aur satellite towns ko city ke suburban rail network se connect karne ki importance ko bataya hai. Activists aur commuters ne bhi is delay ke baare mein concern express kiya hai, aur suburban rail ke traffic congestion aur pollution ko kam karne ke benefits ko highlight kiya hai.
