The contracts mark the final two of six civil construction packages for the project. Funding is secured through a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Patna Junction Station will serve as an interchange between Lines 1 and 2. The Rukanpura Ramp will be integrated with the elevated section of PC-04, currently under construction, while Mithapur Ramp will connect to the eastern section of PC-04. With these tenders released, the only remaining tender is for the rolling stock (trains), which is expected soon.
