The officials responsible for the construction provided evasive answers regarding the slow progress, blaming the COVID-19 pandemic. The station's cable bridge also presented problems. While the Jabalpur railway station was renovated within two years at a cost of 34 crores, the Madan Mahal station's renovation is yet to be completed despite a budget of 120 crores and a delay of five years. The PCCM's inspection also included assessing the station's cleanliness, food quality, 'One Station One Product' scheme implementation, and passenger amenities. The inspection caused a stir among the contractors, engineers, and station management.

Construction ka responsibility sambhalne waale officials, slow progress ke baare mein gोलमोल jawab dete rahe aur COVID-19 pandemic ko blame kiya. Station ke upar se nikalne waale cable bridge mein bhi problems hain. Jabalpur railway station ko 34 crores mein renovate kiya gaya aur yeh kaam do saal mein poora ho gaya, par Madan Mahal railway station ka kaam 120 crores ka budget hone ke baad bhi paanch saal mein poora nahi hua. PCCM ne station ki cleanliness, food quality, 'One Station One Product' scheme implementation, aur passenger amenities ka bhi inspection kiya. Inspection se contractors, engineers, aur station management mein hadkampa mach gaya.
