Secretary, K.L. Gupta, also criticized the quality of safety devices provided to railway employees, stating that they often malfunction. He further emphasized that safety gear like jackets, shoes, watches, and water bottles are not distributed to employees on time despite repeated requests and orders from the General Manager and DRM. The union observed a two-minute silence at the Electrical and Engineering branch office to pay tribute to the deceased.

Secretary, K.L. Gupta ne bhi safety devices ki quality par sawal uthaye hain aur kaha hai ki yeh bahut kharab quality ke hote hain aur kabhi kabhi galat position dete hain. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki General Manager aur DRM ki taraf se saftey gear jaise jackets, shoes, watches aur water bottle ke liye baar baar maang ki gayi hai lekin aaj bhi saalon saal yeh time se nahin mil paa rahe.
