To tell u the truth, actually there is No water itself in KRS to fulfill Bangalore, how can we expect to give TN... and moreover, drought has step in south karnataka..
And Karnataka Govt is really lazy to make arrangements to transfer water from upper Karnataka to Near Bangalore

Right, last summer remember in MH, CR ran water trains from Miraj to Latur region. Similarly, SWR can do this from Almatti dam to Bluru/Mandya/Mysuru region.
Almatti dam is the only dam in KA which filled well in time this year bcoz of good rains in MH. There was one article recently in some Kannada news paper at how KA can fulfill there water needs, by just Almatti Dam. Even though this dam is placed at north KA (Vijayapura district), it can solve water crisis of 60% of KA region. 5 major canal constructions are pending from various govts in the past.
