RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for treatment and was referred to a Mumbai hospital. Her family, unable to secure tickets on any other train, boarded the Howrah-Kurla Express from Tatanagar, sitting in AC coach B/1, seats 49, 50, 51, and 52. Shahnaz's condition deteriorated during the journey, and she fell unconscious. The train reached Chakradharpur at 9:43 PM, where she was taken to the railway hospital and pronounced dead by Dr. Nandini. A case was registered by the GRP, and the body was prepared for post-mortem. However, Shahnaz's sons submitted an application stating that her death was natural due to her illness, and they took her body back to their ancestral home in Khunti.

Shahnaz ki health journey ke doran kharab ho gayi, aur woh unconscious ho gayi. Train 9:43 PM pe Chakradharpur pahuncha, jahan unhe railway hospital le jaaya gaya aur Dr. Nandini ne unhe dead declare kiya. GRP ne ek case register kiya, aur body ko post-mortem ke liye tayyar kiya gaya. Par, Shahnaz ke ladkon ne ek application submit kiya jismein kaha gaya ki unki death unki bimari se natural thi, aur woh unki body ko unke ancestral home Khunti le gaye.
