The electrification project is significant for strategic and religious reasons, as the Jaisalmer route connects the country to the western border and serves as a major pilgrimage route for devotees traveling to prominent stations like Osiyan, Phalodi, Ramdevra, and Pokaran. The completion of electrification will reduce train travel time, decrease reliance on diesel, and contribute to environmental protection.

beech 56 km route par electrification ka kaam baaki hai, jisko jaldi complete kiya jaayega. Jaisalmer route strategic aur religious point of view se important hai, yeh country ko western border se connect karta hai aur Osiyan, Phalodi, Ramdevra, aur Pokaran jaise prominent stations par devotees ki aawa jahi saal bhar banti rehti hai.
