पारसनाथ का नहीं हो सका है अपेक्षात्मक विकास, यात्रियों को नहीं मिलती हैं सुविधाएं

Parasnath, a significant landmark in Jharkhand and Bihar, remains underdeveloped despite its immense potential for tourism. Despite attracting a steady influx of tourists throughout the year, basic amenities are lacking. Numerous development plans for Parasnath have been proposed, but none have been implemented effectively, leaving it stagnant. Parasnath is not only...

a regional heritage but also Jharkhand and Bihar's highest peak. It holds religious significance for Jains as the moksha (liberation) site for twenty of the twenty-four tirthankaras. This makes it a sacred pilgrimage site for Jain followers who visit to pay homage to the footprints (tonks) of tirthankaras on various peaks. Parasnath's natural beauty further draws tourists, offering a breathtaking landscape of peaks, valleys, and the gushing Ghandarva Naala stream. The vibrant flora and fauna, along with the melodious chirping of birds, enhance the scenic allure. The peak witnesses a massive influx of tourists during December-January, especially during Makar Sankranti, and during the monsoon months when pilgrims visit Baba Dham. Despite its popularity, Parasnath lacks basic amenities for tourists. Several development plans, including a theme park, ring road, and tourist facility center, have been proposed but remain unfulfilled. The construction of a ropeway was abandoned due to opposition from a specific community, and the solar energy system designed to illuminate the mountain's paths has also been ineffective.

Jharkhand aur Bihar ki dharohar Parasnath, tourism ke kshetra mein vikas nahi ho paya hai. Yaha par pर्यटकों ka saal bhar aana lagta hai, lekin unke liye basic suvidhaen nahi hain. Kai baar Parasnath Development Plan banaya gaya hai, par vo dharatal par nahi utar paya. Parasnath, ...

Yeh pahad religious importance aur tourism, dono mein apni alag pehchan rakta hai. Parsnath mein, thim park, ring road aur tourist facility centre banane ki yojna thi, par woh dhrayatal par nahi utar payi. Ropeway ka construction bhi ek khass community ke virodh ki wajah se band ho gaya. Solar energy system bhi sirf showpiece ban kar reh gaya.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
