officials. A list released by the South Eastern Railway (SER) shows that only a small fraction of tickets have been booked on 21 Holi special trains originating from the zone. For instance, the Tata-Barauni Holi Special train (08857) has only 8 out of 4592 seats booked. The Santragachi-Madhuban Nagar Holi Special train (08845) has the highest ticket sale, but even in this case, 676 out of 2128 seats remain vacant. This lack of demand indicates that the Railway Ministry, in its haste to launch a large number of special trains for Holi, overlooked the need for proper planning and failed to assess the actual demand for trains. As a result, a significant number of seats on these special trains, including those originating from Tatanagar, Ranchi, and Howrah, are going empty.

chalaayi jaane wali 21 Holi special trains ke reservation tickets ki bikri ka data hai. Is data se pata chalta hai ki bahut kam tickets book huye hain. Jaise ki Tata se chalaayi jaane wali train number 08857, Tata-Barauni Holi Special train, mein sirf 8 seats book huye hain 4592 seats mein se! Sabse jyada tickets train number 08845, Santragachi-Madhuban Nagar Holi Special train, mein bikhe hain. Par, isme bhi 2128 seats mein se 676 seats khali hain! Railway Ministry ne without any planning Holi ke liye itni saari trains chalaane ka decision liya tha, aur unhone train ki actual demand ko check nahin kiya. Is wajah se, Tatanagar, Ranchi, aur Howrah se chalaayi jaane wali Holi special trains mein bahut saari seats khali padhi hain.

Problem is not releasing spl trains in advance to allow people to book tickets . 2-3 days before they would publish about it not leaving enough time for seats to be booked.

Not creating awareness that such trains are running and lack of information to public. SER notifications are lame without proper time table and all stations.

You are right. Information is missing among the people. Most of the people don't know about these spl trains. Even reservation open just 2-3 days before. Route also matters. If you see the routes of all spl trains it seems all the trains running in same route. SHC, BJU, JYG, KIR.
For DBG-SC , if it extend to SBC/MYS then see the rush in this trains. Now a days there are almost daily trains for SC from RNC/BKSC.
