The government has some plan for this route. Trains will run for Mumbai and Delhi too after the election. Maybe the first Vande Bharat sleeper train will also run on this route. The trial will be on this line too. The long plan of the railway is ready from Varanasi to Mumbai via Ayodhya and Bhopal. From Varanasi to Jhansi via Jaunpur Ayodhya Lucknow Jhansi route because the line from Jhansi to Kanpur is fully double and mostly remains empty. But the problem is between Lucknow and Kanpur, there is more traffic of trains there.

That small gate ain't enough..
It's a long passageway, only the gate passengers will feel relieved, not the ones in the middle..
I remember a time back in 2008 when I was on the Dakshin Link Express from Vizag to NZM..
AC wasn't working even after the technician tried many times.
Then he came and said we gotta smash the windows 'cause it ain't fixable..
But the passengers didn't want that, they demanded it to be fixed..
Our train got stuck at Itarsi due to a freight derailment near Bhopal, so we were there for over an hour..
Making the most of the time
Itarsi and onboard staff somehow fixed it and the AC started working, although the cooling wasn't great, but it was okay to manage (without using a bedsheet/blanket).
